I’m an adventurer at heart and a photographer by passion. Whether I’m skiing fresh powder, biking on roads or remote trails, backpacking into the backcountry, climbing with my ice ax, paddling in my kayak or canoe, or exploring far corners of the world, I’m always drawn to wild places and the stories they hold.
Photography lets me share those experiences through images that invite others to pause, connect, and explore. My work focuses on wildlife and natural landscapes, with a special curiosity for night photography and creative motion techniques such as intentional camera movement. And every now and then, I include a few images from my backcountry skiing adventures—because some passions are simply too fun not to share.
My wife is to thank for the support, encouragement and review of many photos. Our 3 kids are to thank for going on the adventures with us and ultimately as a consequence making their way into some of the images.
